God lives in praise. The more praiseful you are, the more God-ful you will become. We build a habitation for Him and His presence in us when we live in praise.
True dominion is impossible without God and praise is that which brings God into any situation.
Gen. 1: 26 – “And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion…”
The first blessing God gave man after creating him was dominion. He gave ma capacity!
To have dominion is having total control of the affairs of one’s life. In true dominion in Christ, nothing escapes your rulership, even in the midst of plague and economic downfall.
Having dominion is to have it always the way you want it. This is not manipulation but commanding this to come to pass. God did not negotiate with the darkness and void to agree to creating something from it, no! He commanded it and it was!
Rom. 8: 28 – “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
When you have dominion, it is not guesswork – there is a certainty that all things work together for your good!
Having dominion is walking in light. II Sam. 22: 29-31 – “For you are my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness. For by you I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall. As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.”
To have dominion is to have unrestricted chance for performance. With dominion, no limitation or opposition stops you! Opposition will come but they are subject to you because you have authority!
Praise for A Life for Dominion
Praise unveils heaven’s vision and releases divine voice for dominion
When you are a man given to praise, you cannot lack heaven’s vision and insight on what to do next. Nothing catches you unawares because you praise a God that nothing surprises!
Isa. 30: 29 – “You shall have a song, as in the night when a holy solemnity is kept; and gladness of heart, as when one goes with a pipe to come into the mountain of the LORD, to the mighty One of Israel.”
A grateful heart opens access into the supernatural
Psa. 100: 1-4 – “Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all you lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing… Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful to him, and bless his name.”
When you are filled with thanksgiving, the gates are opening up for you.
Isa. 12: 3 – “Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation.”
Neh. 8: 10 – “… for this day is holy to our LORD: neither be you sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
Praise empowers your feet for dominion
Joshua 1: 3 – “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread on, that have I given to you, as I said to Moses.”
Every where your feet treads on, God has given you dominion over it.
A weak foot is a product of uncertainty.
Rom. 4: 20-21 – “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.”
What God has promised, He is able to perform – He has promised to preserve, protect and provide for you and this He will do!
Praise empowers you for victory
When you live in praise and allow yourself to constantly and continuously give God praise, it empowers you for victorious living.
II Chron. 20: 20-22 – “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall you be established; believe his prophets, so shall you prosper. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers to the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endures forever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.”
When you sing to God in the face of opposition, it shows you believe Him to turn everything around for you, and smite your enemy!
When you praise Him, you are turning your battle towards God. A joyful heart generates victory over life’s situations and challenges.
Joel 1: 12 – “The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languishes; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.”

Prov. 17: 22 – “A merry heart does good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the bones.”
Praise superimposes provision in the midst of hardship and dryness
When you become a praiseful person, you become a person well-provided for – even if the world around you is in hardship and dryness.
How to Praise for Dominion
Wholeheartedly. Until your heart is committed, God is not involved!
Jer. 29: 13 – “And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.”
II Sam. 6: 14 – “And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.”
David knew this secret – that if he could dance before the God of heaven, his prayers would be answered!
Be a whole-hearted worshipper!
With a vow and a giving spirit. When you praise God with a heart that is generous, He rises to your situation. In I Sam. 1: 9, 20, Hannah made a vow to God and paid the vow when God granted her heart’s request.
Psa. 65: 1 – “Praise waits for you, O God, in Sion: and to you shall the vow be performed.”
Praising with a giving heart helps you escape the dryness. Thanksgiving and your giving triggers the hand of God for performance. It shows your readiness towards receiving.
In righteousness and pureness. Praise that comes from clean lips grants access to provision, protection, preservation and all the blessings of God.
Psa. 66: 17 – “I cried to him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:”
The praise from righteous lips guarantees answers.
With a conquering spirit. When you praise God, it must come with a knowing that whatever is coming, it cannot overshadow you!
Rom. 8: 37 – “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”
Praise him knowing that you are a victor, that you are increasing on all sides, preserved, well-protected and provided for.

Prophetic Declarations/Prayer:
I say to sickness, “go” and it goes! I say to money, “come” and it comes!
Everything is under my control! All things work together for my good!
I receive grace to walk in righteousness.
No sickness or plague will touch me.
