When it comes to prosperity, it is not just about what you do, there is the covenant and God-factor.

Money is spiritual, and there is something that works for the believer when it comes to money – it is the covenant.

The covenant is a generational circle of agreement to prosper, protect and set apart the involved parties.

David struck a covenant with Jonathan, he gave him his robe, sword and girdle; and after Jonathan was dead, David still honoured his covenant – even as king – and sought out who was left in Jonathan’s house so he could be kind to. Read II Sam. 9: 1-13.

Mephibosheth, just by being crippled, wasn’t entitled for favour (II Sam. 5:8), but covenant spoke for him. He wasn’t just physical disability that was wrong with him, he was also mentally disabled and put down but favour spoke for him.

Because of Christ, we are redeemed, we receive the promise made even unto father Abraham.

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” – Galatians 3:13-14

“He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.  He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.  Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;  And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant.” Psalms 105:7-10

God is a family God. He made a promise to Abraham, it became a covenant with Isaac and became a law with Jacob and am everlasting covenant with Israel.

Vs 11. Covenants are said. It is a platform where God encounters His people supernaturally.

Covenant is superior to money. The covenant is heaven’s system of blessings.

Facts About Divine Covenants

1. God only respects His covenant

Psa. 74:20 – “Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.“

Have respect for the covenant and you’ll enjoy heaven’s partiality.

If there is no spiritual head over you, you have no future. People don’t just land in prosperity, there’s a covenant behind it.

2. Covenants speak over generations

Exo. 2:24 – “And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.”

3. Covenants are super superior to the climate – economic, financial, physical, etc.

There is a phase that you enter with God that what you do no longer matters, what matters is who you are!

When you come into Christ all you have is your certificate of salvation, from that moment health, wealth, riches etc is yours; when the covenant becomes activated, the struggle to attract all of these blessings cease!

 

How to Activate the Covenant

1. Through your prophetic connection

In every family, there’s always an head and God is a family God. Your prophetic covering is a direct connection to the fulfilling and triggering the covenant.

II Chron. 20:20 – “And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”

Heb. 7: 7 – “And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.”

Many are in pain because they are disconnected and disjointed. Prophetic connection connects you to the blessing. Proximity is not connection, you can sit so close and be yet so far.

The anointing you do not respect cannot bless you.

Maintain your connection for ever-flowing virtue. Your prophetic covering is a distributor of the things that should come to you, but what you get is determined by your attitude towards the connection. Without value, virtue does not flow.

Prophetic connection is not about the age, it is about the covenant. Your spiritual father can be younger than you are, have less material things than you do, but if he’s the one God has placed over you, you must value him!

2. Love

Absolute love and dedication for God activates the covenant.

Deut.10: 12 – “And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul…”

Where there is no fear and love, you will do all manner of things that can kick you out of the covenant.

God is looking for lovers. Whatever is done out of love cannot get God, because God is love.

To activate God’s covenant over your life, check your love level. Anything that hinders your love for God can kill you.

Prayer Points:

• Father, the mistake I will make that will be irredeemable, prevent me from making it. I will not make deadly costly mistakes in Jesus’ name.
• Father, help me to love you right. Restore your love in my life.
• I vow to love You for the rest of my life.

• When you live a scattered life, it is hard to gather things.
• When you’re too proud, you’ll miss out on God and His blessings.
• Mind what you say because you are in need. Mind where your needs take you to. Ask Esau. He missed the covenant because of a need.
